Expert opinion on FIFA World Cup 


After an incredible and unpredictable Day 3 of the 2022 World Cup, where Argentina lost 2-1 to Saudi Arabia and Tunisia drew with Denmark, we now move on to Day 4 of the world's biggest soccer competition.


   Morocco and Croatia meet in the first game, and the next day we have Germany against Japan to start Group E, followed by Spain and Costa Rica in the same group. The final match of the day will see Belgium take on Canada, returning to the World Cup for the first time since 1986.

   What to know: After a disappointing 2018 campaign that saw them relegated from the clubs, the Germans are back with Hansi Flick and ready to begin their journey of redemption in Japan. The former Bayern Munich striker replaced Joachim Low after Euro 2020. Low stepped down after 15 years as manager, when he led the team to glory at Brazil 2014. But astute observers agree a change is needed. And so far it has been done well. Germany is in the midst of a new physical phase, using power and cunning while playing attractive football.

Group F: Belgium vs Canada
